Driver's Education (In-Person Class)

This course is required by MVA for new drivers in Maryland.
It includes 30 hours of classroom instruction, plus 6 hours of driving practice.
Driver's Education (Virtual Classroom)
–
The virtual classroom version of the Driver’s Ed course.
It includes 30 hours of instruction via a Zoom video class, plus 6 hours of in-cardriving practice.
Driver Improvement Program (Live Class) –
This is a 3-hour class for drivers who were referred by MVA to the Driver Improvement Program.
It is offered in person or via a Zoom video class.
Driver Improvement Program (Self-Paced Class) –
This option is for drivers age 18+
who were referred by MVA to the Driver Improvement Program,
and who want to take the course via
self-study online.
You take the course at your own pace, and then come in to a Greg's office to take the
final exam.
Young Driver Improvement Program –
This is a 3-hour class for drivers under 18 who have a provisional license and were referred by MVA to the Young Driver Improvement Program.
3-Hour Alcohol and Drug Program (Self-Paced Version) –
This is the self-paced version of the class which MVA requires for drivers who have
a non-US license and who want to apply for a Maryland license.
You can take the course at home, at your own pace. Then come in to a Greg's office to take the
final exam.
